Dina Modestus Nzikuis a Senior Lecturer, Researcher and Director for Research and Publications at the Centre for African Research on Enterprise and Economic Development (CAREED) as well as the Programme Leader for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Distance Learning (DL) at the University of the West of Scotland, UK. She is in the executive team at Global Women Entrepreneurship Policy (GWEP) and the Lead of GWEP in Sub-Saharan Africa (GWEP-SSA); Dina is also Entrepreneurship Thought Leader at Women Economic Imperative (WEI). Her research focuses on women’s entrepreneurship, government policies and strategies for promoting entrepreneurship in developing countries. She has published in academic journals, and book chapters, as well as edited scientific research books and contributed to professional high-profile reports like Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD). She has also presented her research work on women entrepreneurship in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) at the United Nations (U.N.) as well as other national and international conferences. Dr Nziku has given keynote speakers at multiple scientific conferences and guest lectures at various institutions and Universities in Europe and Africa where she is also the visiting professor and external examiner.
The lecture is open to FBE students, alumni, and staff.
