In this position, she has responsibility for the development, monitoring and evaluation of those Human Resource policies and procedures which impact on staff performance, such as recruitment, academic promotion, professional development and individual staff management.

On August 30, 2010 the Board of the South East European University (SEEU) appointed Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka as the Pro Rector for Research and Promotion.

On Wednesday 1st of September 2010, the new Rector of SEEU, Prof.dr Zamir Dika, was inaugurated in a solemn ceremony, in front of an audience which included diplomats, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science, Rectors of different Universities in Macedonia , Albania and Kosovo, mayors, professors and students.“This is only the second occasion on which the University has inaugurated a Rector and so it it a significant day for us,” said President of the University Board, Prof. Dr Dennis Farrington, who inaugurated the new Rector.
