In the premises of the South East European University in Tetovo, from October 7 to October 9 the conference on "Concepts and advantages of multilingualism in Europe 2" was held, following the conference on the same topic, held in September 2009 and organized by the College of Communication and Business in Budapest.

On August 30, 2010 the Board of the South East European University (SEEU) appointed Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka as the Pro Rector for Research and Promotion.
Dr. Reka will lead research at SEEU, chair the Research Committee consisting of Directors of research centres, and he will coordinate research projects. Professor Reka will also lead the SEEU Review.Inauguration of New Rector Prof.Dr Zamir Dika

On Wednesday 1st of September 2010, the new Rector of SEEU, Prof.dr Zamir Dika, was inaugurated in a solemn ceremony, in front of an audience which included diplomats, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science, Rectors of different Universities in Macedonia , Albania and Kosovo, mayors, professors and students.“This is only the second occasion on which the University has inaugurated a Rector and so it it a significant day for us,” said President of the University Board, Prof. Dr Dennis Farrington, who inaugurated the new Rector.
