On 21.04.2011 the Minister of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo Prof. Dr. Ramë Buja, hosted the Rector of the South East European University Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika and his collaborators. On this occasion both parties discussed possibilities on deepening cooperation in the field of higher education. In this formal meeting, Minister Buja expressed his willingness for further cooperation with the South East European University in the best interest of students from both countries, since a large number of students from Kosovo study at SEEU. "We are ready to intensify this cooperation, in order to increase the quality in higher education and have a better prepared staff," said Minister Buja and greeted the leaders of SEEU and those those who have contributed to establishing SEEU.
Rector Dika thanked Minster Buja for his support and said that SEEU is prepared for cooperation not only with Prishtina but with Tirana as well, in order to use all possibilities that are in the interest of universities and students of both countries. “We should review the possibility for easing the administrative procedures for SEEU students from Kosova,” said among others, Rector Dika.
