Veli Kreci Publishes a Paper in the Scientific Journal Routledge Taylor
6 May 2010Public Administration and Political Science Faculty, Veli Kreci (co author) publishes a paper titled The Impact of Territorial Re-Organizational Policy Interventions in the Republic of Macedonia in the Local Government Studies journal by the Routledge Taylor and Francis Group, which is highly ranked in the ISI Social Science Citation Index http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/03003930.asp and articles appearing in this journal are abstracted and indexed in International Political Science Abstracts, British Humanities Index and other prestigious social science indexes.

International conference for bioethics in Israel

Ambassadors of the Visegrad Group delivered a lecture to SEEU students
29 April 2010"Regional Integration of the Visegrad Countries as an Example for the Western Balkan Countries for further EU Integration" was the topic of the lecture delivered at SEEU (on 28 April 2010) by the four Ambassadors of member countries of the Visegrad Group in the Republic of Macedonia: HE, Mr. Ferenc Kekesi- Republic of Hungary, HE Mr. Karl Bachura-Republic of Poland, HE Mr. Jozef Braun-Czech Republic, and Dr. Robert Kirnag –Slovak Republic.

SEEU Alumni awarded at Dalarna University in Sweden
26 April 2010 SEEU continues to confirm its reputation as a leader in the region, offering quality education and success to its former students who continue their education or build their career in the most prestigious international universities. A concrete case for this is a former student of SEEU, Mevudin Memedi from Kumanovo who won the prize, “The Best Master Thesis for 2009,” from Dalarana University in Borlänge Sweden. -

26 April 2010 Ass. Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji, after successful reviews for the ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) for the last two years, will be engaged as reviewer for the scientific research works for ACM Journal of Computer and Software Engineering and IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, starting from this year. -

International ELT Conference at SEEU successfully completed
19 April 2010On April 9, 10, and 11, the South East European University was honored to host the international academic conference, ‘From Teaching to Learning: Current Trends in ELT.’ The conference, which was a collaborative endeavor between the Language Centre and the English Department of SEEU, brought together 68 presenters from around the world.

6 April 2010Recently, Prof. Dr. Nexhbi Veseli, lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration, republished his latest university textbook Ekonomia e ndërmarrjes. The book is organized in seven chapters, which are: Scientific development of the Enterprise Economy; Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and its Business; Enterprise Tools; Enterprise Functions; Theory of Costs; Business Efficiency of the Enterprise and the Enterprise's Business Results.

Rector Alajdin Abazi, visits University “Pavarësia” in Vlora, Albania
1 April 2010The Rector of the South East European University, Academician Alajdin Abazi, visited the University “Pavarësia” in Vlora, Albania, on Friday (March 26 2010). Rector Abazi and his homologue Prof. Dr. Arta Musaraj, with their mutual visits in Tetovo and Vlora, have given a new dimension to a relationship of mutual cooperation by demonstrating the importance of academic-scientific cooperation at the university level.

The realisation of the Eco-Campus Project has started
18 March 2010The South East European University and the Italian company “D'Appolonia” signed a cooperation agreement for the realisation of the project on Tuesday 16 March 2010 in Tetovo. This project will enable the realisation of low emissions of the university campus through the implementation of a Climate Action Plan. This project is the first of its kind in the Balkans and in other South East European countries as well.
