  • Deeper Cooperation between SEEU and the University of Bamberg

    On Monday 2 March 2009, a delegation from SEEU consisting of Rector Academician Alajdin Abazi, Pro-Rector Prof. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, Dean Prof. Izet Zeqiri, and Head of International Relations Office Luan Eshtrefi, MA, visited the Otto-Friedrich-Universitat Bamberg in Germany.

    SEEU’s delegation met with the University of Bamberg’s President Prof. Dr. Dr. habil. Godehard Ruppert, Vice President Prof. Dr. phil. Sebastian Kempgen, Dean Prof. Schwarze, and Chair of Public-Finance Prof. Dr. Heinz-Dieter Wenzel.

    The Rector and the President of the Board attended the 5th EUA Convention of European Higher Education Institutions held in Prague, 18-21 March 2009, on the topic 'Facing Global Challenges: European Strategies for Europe's Universities.' The Rectors of SS Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje and St Kliment Ohridski University, Bitola, and a Vice-Rector from the State University of Tetovo were also present.

  • Representatives of German language department on study visit to German universities

    Professors from SEEU-German language department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gezim Xhaferri and Dr. Klaus Schuricht- professor emeritus from the Foundation Herder, from 11th until 20th February 2009, have made a research trip in several German universities.

  • Development of Master Programs in the Field of Education

    South East European University through Tempus IV Project, successfully is implementing the Project for design of new curricula for Master Studies in Education. The Project is consisting by consortiums of the following universities: University of Rome 3, University of Aarhus-Denmark, University of Nottingham-Great Britain, and from the Western Balkans are SEEU, University of Tirana and University of Prishtina.
