SEEU Career Fair was Officially Opened

On Wednesday (8 May 2013) at South East European University, the Career Fair officially was opened, organized by the SEEU Career Centre.

The Career Fair provides a good opportunity for students to meet with potential employers, where they discuss employment possibilities, or to be engaged as interns and to discuss the suitability of their qualifications and skills with labour market requirements or the company concern. Students also had the opportunity to apply for jobs by submitting their CV at company stands on the spot.

The Fair was announced opened by the SEEU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, who spoke about the importance of this event for students, the University and the business community.

The fact that the Fair is held for the eighth time shows that SEEU has the potential and requirements to create capable staff who know how to present themselves to companies that are interested in employment," said Rector Dika. He also said that SEEU is the first institution in the region that started to organize such an event, which has now become traditional.

The participants were also greeted by the Regional Director of "Stopanska Bank", Fatmir Idrzi, who spoke about the importance of student involvement in business activities.

“Students bring the innovation needed and knowledge for economic progress of any country. We as a bank are satisfied with the cooperation that we have with SEEU's students and this cooperation will continue in the future either in engaging students as practitioners or as employees”, said Fatmir Idrizi.

This year the Career Fair was organized for the eighth time and was attended by 40 companies and organizations from Macedonia, who presented their activities for students, staff and other guests.
