The memorandum was signed at the SEEU premises by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Sadudin Ibraimi, and the President of the Council of Experts of MAPAS, Mr. Remzi Bajrami.
Under the framework of this memorandum, the organizing of professional internships for students is envisioned, alongside the promotion and education of students, employees, and the general public regarding the second and third pillars of the pension system. The cooperation also includes expert support and the involvement of professional staff in teaching and research activities, as well as the exchange of relevant data, publications, and information.
Through this partnership, SEEU and MAPAS aim to contribute to bridging the gap between higher education and professional practice, while increasing awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the pension system.

28 October 2026The South East European University (SEEU) and the Agency for Supervision of Fully Funded Pension Insurance (MAPAS) signed yesterday, on October 27, 2026, a Memorandum of Cooperation, aimed at creating a strategic partnership to advance education, practical training, financial literacy, and public awareness in the field of fully funded pension insurance.
