The delegation met with the Rector of South East European University, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika and head of the SEEU Career Centre. During the meeting, Rector Dika explained the SEEU experience in establishing its Career Centre, the first in the region, the challenges and its role in student life and university. He expressed his willingness to help the Albanian universities in establishing career centres for which SEEU already has a proven professional experience in activities with students. The delegation took part in the Career Fair, which is one of the activities that SEEU implements through the SEEU Career Centre and many universities in Albania plan to realize such a fair this year. The Albanian delegation of university representatives was interested for the concrete role, cooperation with students and tracking of their career through the Career Centre. Representatives of the delegation expressed their satisfaction for the opportunity that SEEU provides to Albanian universities to share its experiences, as they are at the beginning of establishment of these centres.
Five Albanian Universities Seek the SEEU Experience in Establishing Career Centres
9 May 2013Within the project Rritje Albania, supported by USAID, a delegation of five universities from Albania visited South East European University in order to become acquainted with SEEU’s experience in establishing and the functioning of the Career Centre, including career courses in their curricula.
