21 November 2011South East European University from Tetovo marked 10th Anniversary in the presence of diplomatic core, Rectors of State Universities from the country: “Ss. Cyril and Methodious”, State University in Tetovo, “St. Kliment Ohridski”, University “Goce Delcev”, Private University “FON”, University of Tirana, University in Prishtina etc. Within the ceremony the bust of the founder Max van der Stoel was unveiled in the presence of his son and daughter.

Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha was Awarded the Prize for Leadership at SEEU
10 November 2011- “In a short period of time, SEEU and SUT have turned Tetovo into one of the major university epicentres of the Albanian nation," said Prime Minister Berisha - “The South East European University represents a model for academic freedom in the region. Opening of the SEEU Intelligent Building
