In the world there are various institutions that do ranking of universities, based on different criteria.
In the latest ranking done by the Shanghai University, SEEU is ranked second among 17 universities in Macedonia. Ranking of universities by the Shanghai University currently is the most reliable ranking at international level.
Recently there are numerous portals or organizations that do ranking of universities based on website visiting. The two most serious organizations, which do ranking of universities according to university web page ranking, are: Webmetrics and 4international Colleges and Universities (http://www.4icu.org/mk/). These organizations have their own websites and have published the lists of universities web ranking.
“There are several institutes and institutions that implement specific methodology for ranking of universities, i.e. websites, primarily based on the visits of webpage, recommendation of the home website from other websites and from scientific research sites" said among others the SEEU Rector’s Advisor for PR and Communication, Demush Bajrami.
