Intercultural show titled “Teaching For and About Cultural Diversity” was held at SEEU

The Centre for Cultural Interaction and Dialogue at SEEU organized an Intercultural Show titled “Teaching For and About Cultural Diversity” as part of the “Learning and Teaching Award 2012-13” project proposal.

Students taking the courses: Cultural Studies, Communication Skills and Interpersonal Communication, taught by professors Linda Ziberi, PhD and Biljana Sazdanovska, MA, presented their final poster presentations on their local cultures. The show featured posters about the various dialects, traditions, clothing and food in the region, as well as other artifacts that the students brought from their local cultures. The students presented on the various verbal and non-verbal communication styles of the different local communities and played music in several languages spoken in the region.

This show marked the beginning of the various cultural activities that will be organized around the world, to mark May 21,the UN World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.
