For the first time, the SEEU PhD student Nuhi Besimi publishes a scientific paper in the internationally renowned scientific journal Microprocessors and Microsystems with impact factor 1.6
28 August 2020Nuhi Besimi PhD student at the South East European University has published the scientific paper titled ‘Using Distributed Raspberry PIs to Enable Low-Cost Energy-Efficient Machine Learning Algorithms for Scientific Articles Recommendation’, in the international scientific journal Microprocessors and Microsystems (MICPRO). He is the only student in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, who has published a scientific paper with an impact factor of 1.61 (according to Clarivate Analytics).

Albërie Xhemaili, SEEU Alumni elected Attaché and Youth Representative in the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs)
27 August 2020Albërie Xhemaili has been elected to represent the youth of North Macedonia and the Western Balkans at the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) network. She was elected European Youth Attaché by direct votes of young people, where a total of 10 young people from North Macedonia were elected, 5 attachés and 5 ambassadors, with a 3-year mandate.

SEEU will start the new academic year with a hybrid teaching system
27 August 2020Students of the South East European University in the new academic year 2020-21, will attend classes on campus and online. Teaching will be with according to hybrid system, where 1/4 of teaching will be online for all students both within the country and those living outside North Macedonia. The rest or ¾ of the teaching and learning process will take place with physical presence.

Annual SEEU staff training was conducted according to pandemic conditions

The annual training of SEEU staff started
14 July 2020"University functioning in pandemic: sustaining quality" is the key topic of annual staff training of the South East European University, which started today (July 14th) with a pre-training session. The training will continue after the summer holidays, on August 19th and will last until August 21st.

14 July 2020Max van der Stoel Research Institute at the South East European University is the winner of a European Commission grant under the Erasmus + program for strategic partnerships in higher education.
