University staff training was held - SEEU distinctive and continuously changes

South East European University, on 18th and 19th August, within the framework of the annual activity for Professional Development, conducted the training of academic and administrative staff, where this year the key theme was-From normative to positive (statements, acts and performance).

Rector of the South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti in his presentation part spoke about the environment of higher education in general and SEEU in particular. He also presented the academic structure in terms of study programs, human resources, the way of teaching depending on the circumstances in which we are, research activities and capacities and their results, as well as the new scheme of scholarships for students.

“Compared to our set objectives and with other HE institutions, we have the most distinctive step and the changes are also, starting from the academic ones, managerial, research engagements, results and the performance in general” said among others Rector Bexheti.

During these activities, many topics related to the key theme were addressed, like: “Pandemic challenges for teaching and learning: digitalization, hybrid mode, student attendance etc.”; “The State of the Art of Research and Projects at SEEU”; “Evaluation of administrative services – presentation and discussion”.

Staff training takes place every year and aims at continuous development and further strengthening into a quality staff. The training topics derive from the self-assessment procedure that is completed annually by each staff member.

The training sessions were conducted by respecting all measures against the Pandemic Covid -19.
