Semester 1

• [6 ECTS] Research Methodology
  Students will be able to: * To apply the main methods of legal and other research. * To collect research material in a critical way that is relevant and which are cited by the authors in their responses. * To understand the scope of the research and access to various methods of research, being able even to their critical review. * To study the relationship between legal theory and research practice through an advanced approach * To apply skills and knowledge learned in their theses.
• [6 ECTS] Civil Material Law
  The concept of the curriculum aims for students to acquire the ability to apply their practical knowledge of civil law, a skill that every lawyer should possess. Largely expected by the student is the ability to develop the technique of proper application of legal rules (reading and interpretation of civil legal norms). Also, the student is expected to possess normative technique: Transactions (contracts, wills), preparation of various types of complaints (lawsuits, complaints, objections, requests), and the preparation of judicial acts (judgments, decisions) and acts other administrative bodies (decisions, contracts) that stimulate and change the civil legal relations.
• [6 ECTS] Property Law
  The concept of the curriculum aims for students to acquire the ability to apply their practical knowledge of property law. Largely expected by the student to develop the technique of proper application of legal rules of property law.
• [6 ECTS] Intelectual Property Law
  By studying this module students will gain knowledge about the basics of intellectual property rights and their types and their holders. Also, be trained to recognize and distinguish objects of intellectual property surrounding them every day. Among the rights that have registered, students will be trained on how to fill out an application for patent, trademark, industrial design, and others. Students will gain knowledge to distinguish the creator (author, inventor, creator) from the rights holders (natural persons and legal entities), but also to become acquainted with the rights belonging to (moral, material, etc.).

  • Rhetoric
    During its long history of 2,500 years, rhetoric was used to indicate many different things; but rhetoric nowadays is considered as the art of persuasion through language. Rhetoric marks the way that an individual is linked to a particular theme or idea in order to convince the others. Rhetoric is characterized by several distinguishing features.
  • Multilingualism and multiculturalism
    The purpose of this subject will be multilingualism in multicultural societies as a social phenomenon. This phenomenon is massive in the world. During the lectures, more precise terms such as monoculturalism and multiculturalism will be considered. The term ‘linguistic nationalism’ has at least two forms of this nationalism, which collide with each other: for the leaders of the most powerful countries nationalism means expansion, and for minorities it takes the form of defiance and struggle for the affirmation of identity, despite such pressure. The emphasis during the program will be multiculturalism in education. In the schools curricula consists of contents from different cultures.
  • Selected Chapters of Advanced Topics in IT Applications for Preparing a Scientific Paper
    The aim of this subject is: * To display the technical elements, the structure of the text and deign of a scientific research. * To enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and skills from selected advanced chapters of IT applications that will be needed in preparation of the scientific and research paper. * Practical application of these objectives in preparing student’s individual research paper.
  • Selected Chapters of Advanced Applications for Statistical Data Processing
    The aim of this subject is: * To display the technical elements in the field of statistics: organizing, processing, comparing through analysis and publication of data. * To enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and skills from selected advanced chapters of the applications for statistical data processing. * Practical application of these objectives in statistical processing of data obtained from questionnaires, reports, scientific studies and other documents.
  • Professional Communication
    The course is focused on the development of those communication skills that are essential for effective functioning in the professional world. Students will study the process for analysis of different communication situations, and will accordingly comprehend them. Among the themes that will be covered are communication in organization, interpersonal and group communication, oral presentations, interviews for employment, professional business letters and interpersonal skills including group dynamics and teamwork.
  • Methodology of Teaching
    The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the basic teaching approaches and methods. They are expected to gain knowledge and skills in order to be able to apply the active educational tools. The course also offers development, learning and teaching as concepts and basic practices that allow teachers to teach about the development of thinking. Throughout this course, students will gain both theoretical background and entirety of strategies that will enable them to reflect and develop both their own and their students` critical thinking.

Semester 2

• [6 ECTS] Law of Obligations
  By studying the subject of the curriculum students will gain specific knowledge about the basics of Law of obligations and their specific types.
• [6 ECTS] International Private Law
  Through this module, students will gain advanced knowledge of legal resources to be applied to regulate the civil-legal relations with foreign element (national and international) and mode of regulation of civil-legal relations with foreign element (direct and indirectly (kolizional) that is characteristic only for this module) and the general elements and joint formation and implementation of the IPL by the facts that show foreign elements (facts of identification), and connection points through which institutions avoid application of the merit law.
• [6 ECTS] Family Law
  The course examines the legal family relationship, matrimonial law and parental rights. After a brief historical overview of the types of families, the course focuses on contemporary themes, namely the situation in the RM. Students are expected to gain knowledge about: Concept of family law at the local and international perspectives, legal resources and marital relations, conditions and forms of their marriage when the spouses are nationals of the country or in the case when one of the spouses has a foreign citizenship, adoption and guardianship in the local and international terms.
• [6 ECTS] Trade Law
  Students familiarize themselves with legal regulations on the exercise of any business activity, organization of business entities, conditions for establishment and registration of business entities and individual dealer, and the ways of the cessation of business entity, the methods of creating a business and conditions legal relationship such conditions, the effects and consequences, with securities work: protection of intellectual property rights, ways of protecting businesses from unfair competition, and ways to protect consumers.

Semester 3

• [6 ECTS] Civil Procedural Law
  Specific objectives of this program consist of training of students to identify and critically analyze the fundamental institutions of the contested procedure, non contentious and execution procedure as well as to develop skills of applying knowledge gained in practice in relation to the conduct of these proceedings.
• [6 ECTS] Inheritance Law
  The course examines the legal regulation of transfer of property of the individual over others in case of his death. In particular, studying the legal basis for inheritance, hereditary orders under the Law of RM, the essentials necessary heritage and lineage, heritage testamentale, the possibility of drafting a will and his kind, the conditions of validity of the will, the moment of transfer of property and legacy.
• [6 ECTS] International Economic Law
  Discipline that studies international legal trends and developments in the international economy, international economic institutions and their operations and activities. The course aims to introduce students to the way of economic activity at the international level and international payments in order to gain specific knowledge about active involvement in international economic activities of local entities.
• [6 ECTS] Comparative Civil Law
  The course examines the civil systems of different countries, systematic analysis of solutions of the civil laws in the context of existing social conditions and factors, the development trends of civil laws and their harmonization with civil legislation within the EU.
• [6 ECTS] Elective course 1
  • Bankrupcty Law
    The specific objectives of this course consists in enabling students to independently identify and critically analyze the fundamental institutions of insolvency and bankruptcy procedures and to develop skills to apply knowledge gained in practice.
  • Insurance Law
    Students will gain specific skills and practice dealing with hypothetical situations on insurance that nowadays considered an essential prerequisite for economic and social security, legal and natural persons.
  • Domestic Violence
    Through this course, students will have more opportunity to become acquainted with the types and categories of domestic violence and how it is incriminated in domestic legislation and international, and what help is provided to its victims.

Semester 4

• [30 ECTS] Master Thesis
  This module enables students to transfer their skills and knowledge to research and make more complex task of the master thesis. This module is designed to be fully practical and students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to approach writing the paper. The module has unique return result-to enable students to write the master thesis with minimal difficulties, and with maximum efficiency. The course aims to improve research techniques and style of writing paper, taking account to stop illegal means, such as plagiarism and infringement of copyright, which are prohibited by the Statute of SEEU.
