  The goal of this course is to explain the methodologies and techniques of scientific work, which mostly create many difficulties for students. Practical exercises are designed to help us in the way how we should utilize the library, how to write an essay, research papers and others. Within this course will be included the following topics: defining the topic, bibliography, citation rules, scientific codes, organizing work.
• [C2018] [10 ECTS] Core Issues in Teaching Leadership in Education
  This course is designed to help students understand the organizational dynamics of schools. The knowledge gained should help students identify and suggest alternatives to program and behavioral regularities that can be found in schools or in human service organizations. This course will address issues related to organizational culture and professional development of staff as well as the development of school planning. In this module students will develop the competencies for: • To learn and have advanced knowledge about the historical, philosophical, sociological perspectives of education in society • To deepen their knowledge of social and educational trends, theory and practice. • To develop and enhance their abilities for perception, identification and research of the multicultural aspects of education and interaction with social phenomena • To learn the techniques and improve their skills for scientific research work, life and communication with the community • To learn about the professional responsibilities of teachers, their profile and mission in society;
• [C2463] [10 ECTS] Doctoral Dissertation Writing
  This course is designed to enable students to carry out independent scientific research or writing a doctoral thesis. The course is intended to give to students the necessary knowledge, ability and confidence to successfully approach their research work. The course is therefore more collaborative than a strict lecture-based course; students are expected to discuss actively in the class.

Semester 2

• [C2616] [10 ECTS] Doctoral Project Proposal
  This activity involves the preparation of an independent research project under supervision, which forms the basis of the doctoral dissertation. The student begins the process of developing the dissertation research plan by systematically elaborating its key components. The activities include identifying and reviewing relevant literature, defining the theoretical framework and research hypotheses, selecting and specifying the research methodology, and developing an individual research plan. The process is completed with a first public presentation of the research project.

  • [E2503] Communications in Educational Institutions
    The educational system is the only and basic system of the industry for the development of the human mind, while the mind produces every thought that is around us. The content of this program is to focus on creating strategies that develop the critical, problematic and creative thinking of generations as a prerequisite for qualitative changes in the environment. People are indispensable factors. Counseling in education through human resource management is a very sensitive issue. Hence the conclusion that the content of this program is based on the results in this area.

    With this module students will develop the ability to: •Contribute to creating a learning environment conducive to active learning; •Plan teaching series in a way that confirms the importance of skills, processes and understandings for the individual subject, the overall goals of education, as well as the abilities and interests of students; •Develop, select and use different tasks, affirming that different things can serve different purposes because they guide students' learning activities; •Organize the classroom and communication in a small group of ways that confirm that communication with the student is a means of supporting the subject and ultimately students learn to communicate in ways that are accepted within different subjects; •To use assessment procedures during the teaching process that will support the planned learning of students and will orient their learning activity towards the essential elements of the content.

    The purpose of this subject will be multilingualism in multicultural societies as a social phenomenon. This phenomenon is massive in the world. During the lectures more precise terms will be considered such as: monoculturalism and multiculturalism. The term ‘linguistic nationalism,’ has at least two forms of this nationalism, which collide with each other: for the leaders of the most powerful countries nationalism means expansion, and for minorities it takes the form of defiance and struggle for the affirmation of identity, despite such pressure. The emphasis during the program will be multiculturalism in education. In the schools’ curricula consists of contents from different cultures.

    The course is focused on the development of those communication skills that are essential for effective functioning in the professional world. Students will study the process for analysis of different communication situations, and will accordingly comprehend them. Among the themes that will be covered are communication in organization, interpersonal and group communication, oral presentations, interviews for employment, professional business letters and interpersonal skills including group dynamics and team work.

    The aim of the course is for students to get acquainted with pedagogical psychology, methods and techniques of pedagogical psychology, to use the methods and techniques in psychological problems in education. Learning and learning factors. Types of learning, behavioral and cognitive learning. Various theories and practices of learning. Learning theories and abilities. Structure of abilities and its types and transfer in learning. The aim of this course is to offer development, learning and teaching, as concepts and basic practices that enable teachers to teach for the development of thinking. With this course students will gain a theoretical basis and set of strategies that develop thinking and their ability to reflect on thinking, a process often called meta-cognition. During this course students will learn about the various strategies that encourage teaching about and around thinking, and they will also be tasked with designing and evaluating their strategies. To encourage reflective thinking and meta-cognitive knowledge in students, participants will have the opportunity to learn about development, learning, teaching, habits, critical thinking, and the problem-solving process.

  The aim of PhD students’ mobility is to request candidates to present, exchange and discuss their research work with their colleagues from other European countries for improving the quality of their dissertation.

Semester 5

  At the end of the 5th semester, after the research activities under the individual plan, overall results of this phase of the paper and the research will be presented publicly by the candidate.

Semester 6

• [EML-PHD-THESIS] [30 ECTS] Doctoral Dissertation
  The Doctoral Dissertation is a core academic requirement involving original scientific research within a specific field of study. This process includes identifying a significant research problem, developing a robust methodology, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results in a systematic and scientific manner. The objective is for the candidate to demonstrate the capacity for independent research and the generation of original knowledge or innovative approaches. The dissertation fosters skills in critical synthesis, advanced research methodologies, and the adherence to academic integrity. Furthermore, it prepares the student for professional contributions and active engagement within the international scientific community. Upon completion under a mentor’s guidance, the dissertation is submitted to the Teaching-Scientific Council of the relevant faculty. Following review and approval, the work is delivered to the examining committee to initiate the public defense procedure".
