The Center for Cultural Interaction and Dialogue is organizing a one-day workshop on “The Impact of Culture and Interculturalism in the Education Process”. The workshop will be held on 26 April 2013, 14:00-18:00, in Lecture Hall 4, SEEU BDC Building, in Tetovo.
The workshop will explore a number of challenges and opportunities for intercultural dialogue in the national public educational system. The topics will include, but will not be limited to the following themes:
- The multicultural reality of Macedonia;
- Equity principles in the teaching and learning process;
- The need for public schools to promote intercultural dialogue;
- The benefits of teaching cultural diversity in the classroom, and its role in increasing the students’ critical thinking and communication skills.
CCID invites all high school teachers teaching courses such as: English language, German and French languages, Sociology, Philosophy and Psychology to attend this workshop. The Center will providelunch and drinks, as well as certificates of completion to all participants.
