This program is an advanced degree of improvement in scientific, research and professional areas and their own independent research activities, as well as in academic and professional career. In this process of study students will acquire the academic, intellectual and technical competencies and communication skills through various forms of preparing for research.
The study program will prepare scholars and professionals with contemporary knowledge and skills for teaching and research, and will also acquire managerial and strategic skills to work in public administration institutions. Candidates will acquire the necessary experience and skills in order to be prepared as experts in the field of Public Administration and European Integration

Research Methodology
This course is designed for students who are preparing to carry out a doctoral thesis project. The main objective of the course is to offer students tools conceptualising their thesis regarding research issue and the creation of data collection methods and qualitative analysis. The course is focused on problems of the quantitative methods and techniques, such as statistical analysis, texts related to theory and testing hypotheses. Then, the meaning and topics of descriptive and causal inferenceare of a great importance, longitudinal comparative research and case study. Advanced information data collection will be offered for working with text. The goal is to analyze the quality of data and incorporate all theoretical and practical performances in the function of designing and writing of the thesis.

Doctoral Thesis Writing
This course is a complement to subject research methodology which trains students with advanced knowledge, and skills to prepare and complete the doctoral thesis. Students become familiar with methodological techniques of a real research situation, preparation of questionnaires, surveys with direct examples. Through topics as research and as an individual sample paper will familiarize students with scientific research work, organizational analysis in social science and the different approaches used by scientists when analyzing a social phenomena. Practical and theoretical settings in the beginning of the writing, the advantages of faster onset of parts, a clear definition of objectives and phenomena are topics that will encourage students. Consenquently gathering, writing and storing data for ideas as design work, in a doctoral project.

Public Policy Analysis
The course aims to enable students to define and illustrate the analysis of the policy and its role in the creation and transformation of policy-relevant information. There is no agreement on how precisely to define public policy. Students will have the opportunity to learn about this field and to critically analyze developments and events in the area of public policy. Public policy analysis is a discipline for problem solving that draws knowledge from social science methodologies and theories underlying social professions and policy philosophy.

After the first semester, the student begins activities for the development of the plan on his doctoral dissertation. The course also covers elements such as performance management, arranging, privatization, and outsourcing and network management. Also, this course will cover theories of decision makeing, organizational processes, motivation and leadership, communication skills and their application in public institutions.

The course is designed to train students with advanced theoretical and empirical knowledge of the systems of governance in the EU and EU policies. The core of this course is to present how EU functions today, its policies and how does the system of governance in the EU function. By studing this course, students acquire the knowledge of how does the EU function politicaly and institutionaly, who are the main actors of decision-making procedures through which EU rules and which are it’s main policies.

The course helps students acquire knowledge from the field of institutions and political system by comparing similar institutions in other political systems. In general the aims of this subject can be highlighted as following:
