The International Law study program aims to provide a range of modules that will form the basis of information and advanced knowledge on International Law matters for the purpose of training students to basic legal professions related to this field by providing solid knowledge, the specific and systematic institutes and concepts of International Law and on the situation and their prospects in the region and world.
The Diploma of the study program will enable PhD students to conduct scientific research work in the field of International law sciences, as well as teaching at universities in the country and abroad, and also will be actively involved in the process of strengthening the resources of government activities in terms of the country's Euro-Atlantic integration process.
Knowledge and understanding
- Has solid knowledge of the disciplines that conceive of international law including the Law of the international organizations, human rights, international public law, international private law, international criminal law, international economic law and international relations;
- Has depth knowledge of advanced techniques and methods of research in the field of international law.
Applying knowledge and understanding
- Interprets in a critical way the theories of international law and relevant cases from practice;
- Applies theoretical knowledge in practical situations that arise in the field of international law as the protection of human rights, diplomacy, disputes and Collision of laws including the negotiations and mediation;
- Synthesize knowledge gained and apply them in specific circumstances;

- Performs more critical thinking through methods of analyzing and comparing.
- Develops skills of solving problems through case-law practices of more complex national and international cases.

- Utilizes proper terminology for complex and specific issues in the area of international law sciences.

The course consists of study of cases in public international law, and includes some practical work in the respective institutions, which may include research to students in groups.

International Private Law - depth program
Through this module, students will gain advanced knowledge of legal resources to be applied to regulate the civil-legal relations with foreign element (national and international) and mode of regulation of civil-legal relations with foreign element (direct and indirect) that is characteristic only for this module) and the general elements and joint formation and implementation of the IPL by the facts that show foreign elements (facts of identification), and connection points through which institutions avoid application of the merit law.

Review and Approval of the Doctoral Dissertation Plan
After the first semester, the student begins his activities for the development of the plan on his doctoral dissertation. Activities include the definition of literature, defining hypothetical framework, the definition of the work methodology and determination of the individual plan as well as the first public presentation. If necessary, can be held elective courses for this purpose.

A more detailed study of EU private law, regulations, domicili, contracts, contracting out responsibility, jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions and relevant proceedings.

International Humanitarian Law
In the context of this module, the focus will be on the fundamental institutions of international law in armed conflicts, which cover internal armed conflicts and civil wars. Emphasis will be placed on its resources, namely the Geneva Conventions on international humanitarian law and additional protocols. In conditions of extremely rapid development of this discipline in order to include multiple internal conflicts and their legal regulation of the humanitarian aspect, special emphasis will be placed in internal armed conflicts.

In the context of this course, students acquire in-depth knowledge of contractual clauses and unfair practices, direct sales, purchasing licenses, price comparisons, special sales and special offers, special sales of sales of shares of the bankruptcy estate, spreading false statements for the purpose of competition, monopoly, decisions and agreements, consistent application of business conditions, monopolies rationalization and specialization agreements for cooperation and collaboration between buyers, import and export monopolies in the public interest to report to competent authorities, measures authorities antitrust, vertical restraints of competition, maintenance and pricing, the exclusive right of sale agreements, license agreements, technical knowledge and experience to dominate the market, limiting competition and unequal treatment, rules of competition, competent authorities and procedures.

In the context of this subject will be studied the basic points of the theories of international intergovernmental organization, the institutional structure of the UN system, major European organizations-EU, Council of Europe and OSCE, as well as important regional organizations operating in America, Africa, Asia and the Far East, and relations of RM with mentioned organizations or activities in international organizations where RM is affiliated.
