A delegation of Istanbul University visited SEEU

Tuesday (16 June 2009), a delegation of Istanbul University, led by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Yunus SÖYLET, accompanied by the pro-rectors and the director of hospitals network of this University visited South East European University.

The purpose of this visit was the deepening of cooperation between the two universities and establishment of closer ties of cooperation in concrete areas.

The delegation of the Istanbul University was hosted by the Rector of SEEU, academician Aljadin Abazi, who informed guests from Turkey about educational opportunities, and academic and administrative structure of our University.

SEEU is new a University, but for a short period of time has managed to have an impact not only in the region, but also in Joint European Universities Area, said Rector Abazi.

Both rectors reviewed the possibility of cooperation in various fields, especially for staff and students exchange.

Delegation members of Istanbul University were enthusiastic about opportunities that SEEU offers. Visitors had the opportunity to get familiarize from more closely with centers, institutes and laboratories, operating within the SEE University.
