The US Ambassador to Macedonia, HE Paul Wohlers, marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, said that he was glad to be in this respected institution, where young people of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds have the opportunity to gain knowledge and new perspectives.
The lecture was held on Monday (25 November 2013), in front of the South East European University students and staff in Tetovo.
The U.S. Ambassador answered numerous questions from the students, which mainly had to do with the current political situation in Macedonia and the wider region.
The legacy of President John F. Kennedy's leadership relates to hope, inspiration, and to the freedom of nations. He was a leader who continues to inspire new generations of leaders and students, said the professor of international relations and political science, Prof. Dr. Veton Latifi.
