Traditional SEEU Staff Training Was Held

“Our university is the only higher education institution in the region that trains its academic and administrative staff in line with the latest technological and communication developments "- said Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, Rector of SEEU.

Within in the programme for development and staff training, from 19 to 22 August, SEEU employees stayed in Struga, where trainings were held in different fields. Trainers were well known experts from home and abroad.

In his presentation, the SEEU Rector, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, stressed the importance of quality and the need to prepare staff, which will be in line with global technological developments. Our university is the only higher education institutions in region that, in teaching and in general, in its function as a higher education institution, puts emphasis on training and development of academic and administrative staff in line with the latest technological developments and mass communication.

At the training were present international experts as well. "Profile of the Contemporary University Professor" was the topic of training, which was held by the Director the German National Library of Economics and Professor at the University of Kiel, Prof. Dr. Klaus Tocherman.

Within the administration staff training programme several workshops were held for protocol, best practices based on ethical principles of internal communication and effective management of tasks, flexible work and problem solving.

Within the training of academic staff topics treated included: continuous assessment, methodologies and monitoring- from academic staff and students perspective, assessment of learning activities - discussion of methodologies and application of learning outcomes, effectiveness of university procedures regarding student academic issues, etc.

This is the third year in a row that South East European University organizes joint training for entire staff outside the universit campus.
