The First Lectures for the New Cohort of Diplomatic Academy Was Held at SEEU Centre Skopje

The opening speech was made by the SEEU Pro-rector for Research,Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka, who welcomed the cooperation between SEEU and theMinistry of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia, especially having in mind the factthat Prof. Reka himself is a former diplomat and professor, and SEEU was chosenfor the place where this lecture was held.

The main lecture was delivered by Ambassador Ivon on the topic"Organization of the Foreign Office - Practice and Experience.” He spokeabout the historical development of the British diplomatic service, currentarrangements and changes that this service has experienced.

This successful initiative is expected to result with amemorandum of understanding between SEEU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
