The new academic year started at SEEU: Induction meeting for the freshmen

At the traditional welcoming meeting organized especially for freshmen, the Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, wished them a welcome to the big family of SEEU. He instructed the new students to be demanding and to use all the resources that the University has made available to them.

“You have an open door to every academic and administrative unit, even to me as Rector, for whatever information you need, for help and any uncertainty, but not for passing grades, because you will earn it according to individual merit and commitment. The student is at the center of attention, and this is not rhetoric, this is not a statement, but it is the essence that has made SEEU grow every year” noted Rector Bexheti.

“In the public institutions in the entire country, all companies, all institutions, all NGOs, all international missions there are a lot of SEEU Alumni as employees, because they have advantages that other do not have, in many aspects and mainly in your technical and technological skills, linguistic, intercultural and especially those of the English language, but also in local languages. You are prepared here to be citizens of the United Europe", he said, among other things, in his welcoming address--Rector Bexheti.

In his speech, the president of Student Parliament and Association, Mevlan Ademi, wished the students a good start in this new stage of their lives.

“I suggest you make the most of your time here at SEEU. The years of study pass very quickly and don't miss any opportunity to create new relationships and gain experiences that will help you during your student journey", emphasized Mevlan Ademi.

A meeting was also held today with the new students at the SEEU Campus in Skopje, in which they were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Veland Ramadani, director SEEU Campus in Skopje and president of Student Parliament and Association.

As part of the Orientation Week, new students are given instructions to familiarize themselves with the University's infrastructure, to be provided with student ID cards, to compile the schedule, as well as to get to know the student advisors and the University's administration services.
