Rector Bexheti participant in the Conference "Year of European Opportunities" - Full integration is a process without an alternative

In the context of academic contribution and active participation in important social processes, the Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, participated in the Conference "Year of European Opportunities", which was organized by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, in Skopje.

"Full integration is a process without an alternative and 2024 is the key year for North Macedonia's membership in the EU. At the center of European integrations, the focus should be on the education sector in function of the creation of human capital, as a basic factor for development and improving the standard, otherwise the youth and the most capable ones will continue to leave the country by looking a better life in the West” emphasized Rector Bexheti.

The conference was declared open by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, while the main stakeholders of the institutions responsible for integration, as well as well-known experts contributing to the improvement of government policies in the integration process of North Macedonia, were present.

The conference developed the works in four panels, where the policies and measures undertaken by the Government for the full membership of the country in the EU were discussed.
