Representatives of the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, visited SEEU

On Thursday (3.10.2019), the Rector of South East European University--Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti--and the President of the University Board, Prof. Dr. Dennis Farrington, received a delegation from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, consisting of Dave Tullett--Associate Fellow at the Executive Programme--and Eleanor Murray, Senior Fellow in Management Practice. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Fatmir Besimi and Mr. Zivko Mukaetov, as initiator of the initiative for designing executive leadership programmes in North Macedonia.

The purpose of the meeting was to explore needs and opportunities in the regional market of the Western Balkans, even in the context of the programme of the Berlin Process to design and offer a programme of excellence in executive management and leadership, for the private and public sector as well as for the civil.

Rector Bexheti informed the delegation of the Saïd Business School about possibilities for mutual cooperation, with the steps the University is taking in promoting leadership and involving the business community not only in the realization of internships but also in the design of study programmes and of profiles needed for business.

The Saïd Business School initiative aims to explore the needs and opportunities for the design of executive leadership programmes in North Macedonia and in the region of the Western Balkans. This initiative aims to promote leadership among the business community and public sector policy makers, with the aim of addressing the complex challenges of integrating the region into developed markets into the globalized world.
