SEEU traditional staff training was held

“Making a difference: change yourself to change others”, was the key theme of the traditional training of South East European University staff, held on Thursday and Friday (12 and 13 September 2019), in Tetovo.

The Rector of South East European University --Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti delivered a central presentation on current trends, challenges and future steps.

“I want to tell you good news today, as we have a solid performance as a University and all thanks to the work of each staff member from the highest to the lowest rank. We have a very positive trend of new student enrolment and compared to last year, this increase is about 10% more applications. This shows that the market makes a difference and selects our students” said Rector Bexheti.

In this presentation, Rector Bexheti outlined some of the key pillars, which will be the focus for further development of the University, by asking all employees to give their best and not only to keep these trends, but to prove that the university is an added value to society, community and that our students and employees themselves are the main stakeholders and guarantors of this measurable success.

The Pro-Rector for Academic Planning and Digitalization--Prof. Dr. Vladimir Radevski presented on priorities and areas for improving academic content and dissemination (with particular emphasis on master's degree programs), where academic staff were able to assist with concrete proposals in this process.

About the research activities in the University and results during one year, the Pro-Rector for Research and International Cooperation--Prof. Dr. Besa Arifi had a presentation , where she spoke about the results achieved, but also about the main direction where the research policy of the University will be focused.

Presentation on Key Performance Indicators and new University Rules, for administrative staff of the University were held by the Secretary General--Dr. Xhevair Memeti.

About the University Code of Conduct presentation was held by the Quality Advisor--Prof. Dr. Veronika Kareva; while on the topic making a difference: internal and external PR presented the Marketing and Promotion Advisor-- Prof. Dr. Gadaf Rexhepi.

The training was conducted in working groups, where presentations on specific topics were held by deans, heads of centres, departments and specific training tasks were carried out.

Socializing, discussion and entertainment part continues in the city of the Albanian culture, i.e., Korça.
