SEEU Alumni the most important asset of the University

On Saturday (22 June 2019), the Faculty of Business and Economics of South East European University on the Tetovo campus organized a traditional meeting with Alumni, which was attended by about 100 former students of this faculty.

The aim of this meeting was to obtain feedback from the labor market and to keep and strengthen the alumni network among themselves, by enabling synergy of networking as an important component of this association. To Alumni was presented the Statute of the Alumni Association, who had the opportunity to elect representatives through appointment of candidates from among themselves.

The Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, appreciated the opportunity to meet with the Alumni of the University and the great presence which demonstrates a commitment to the institution.

“Today I do not want to speak in the capacity of the Rector, because for you I am, I have been and I will remain your professor, whom you remember from the lectures. After 18 years the institution has changed, but you as well. I see here former students currently in leadership and responsible positions in the most important public institutions. I see here successful owners of their businesses and I see here real professionals engaged in relevant international institutions and in the non-governmental sector” said Rector Bexheti.

“Our ALUMNI is our asset and there is no similar model in the region as SEEU, which treats ALUMNI as its most important asset”, said Rector Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, who urged Alumni to communicate with the institution, express mutual respect and act with conviction and heart.

Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Hyrije Abazi welcomed her former colleagues from studies, by expressing her and institution’s pleasure for the massive participation of ALUMNI and their desire to meet and maintain contacts with their Alma Mater University.

“This year we had the 15th Generation of Graduates and the years past testify the functionality and impact that this university has had in our careers and lives. SEEU maintains the position of the unique educational institution model in the region, and we are proud of this, since all of us has made to feel special and to behave such” said Dean Abazi.

Career Center Leader, Burbuqe Kaprolli-Hamzai, presented the SEEU ALUMNI Association Statute and the communication forms that the Center uses in communicating with previous University students.

Some of the ALUMNI, like: Besnik Ademi (owner of private business), Bardhyl Dauti (politicians and professor) and Aida Uzeri-Baftijari, unveiled memories from the student years and showed their way of success, where SEEU has played the key role in their career.
