The delegation was consisted of the Dean of Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adrian Besimi, the Technology Park Project Manager MSc. Visar Demiri, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bujar Raufi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Visar Shehu.
The academic exchange meeting was presided over by Dean Zhang Guojin. Wang Heping, director of the International Cooperation Department of the Provincial Science and Technology Department supported the collaboration and emphasized on the importance of such activities under the framework of “16+1” cooperation between China and North Macedonia. Director Wang Heping said that Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Department will continue to strongly support the international science and technology cooperation and exchange between Lanzhou Jiaotong University and North Macedonia, support the joint construction of joint laboratories, technology transfer centers and other cooperation platforms, and promote the achievements of scientific and technological development and innovation cooperation.
At the academic exchange meeting, the delegation had series of presentations to the participants, professors and students according to their respective research directions, and discussed the potential opportunities for collaboration with the Chinese colleagues in various fields, such as transportation technology, entrepreneurial innovation, e-commerce, and international education. In the scope of the meeting, further activities to enhance student and staff exchange were planned as well.
