Summer camp on critical thinking in the digital era was held

On April 18th and 19th at South East European University, the summer camp –‘Critical Thinking in the Digital Era’ was held, participants in this camp were high school graduates from Tetovo, Skopje, Gostivar, Debar and other cities.

The summer camp was organized by the SEEU -- Faculty of Business and Economics, where several activities were held, mainly of training and socialization character among high school graduates.

The Rector of South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, informed graduates about the aim of organizing summer camps, which in modern times are organized in the program format.

“You have a lot to do and see in our campus, to get acquainted with the infrastructure and the environment, the super-structure --mainly in terms of human resources, established systems, institutional culture and student life” said Rector Bexheti, who also delivered a lecture on the key topic of the summer camp “Critical Thinking in the Digital Era”.

The Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics-- Prof. Dr. Hyrije Abazi, welcomed the high school graduates and lectured on the topic “Impact of Technology in Education”.

The SEEU Pro-Rector for Academic Planning and Digitalization-- Prof. Dr. Vladimir Radevski and the Head of Training and Development Sector in the Company ‘Ecolog’-- Evzal Rakipi, MA delivered their lectures also.

Symbolically the Summer Camp brought together high-school graduates and current SEEU students and in order to gain experience, and to enable the high-school graduates to create a more realistic picture of the University, and how studying here might develop their professional career. The high school graduates actively participated in many sports, game, cultural and musical activities.
