The Rector of South East European University, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, underlined that seminars of this nature offer different practices associated with different experiences of implementing quality in universities.
“We are informed about the new standards that universities must meet within the European Quality Framework. Our University is committed in this regard and this seminar demonstrates our orientation towards European standards of quality in education,” said Rector Dika.
The Director of the European Quality Assurance Register, Colin Tuck, stressed the importance of coordination of activities for creating more qualitative conditions in education.
“Here I have noted the special attention of institutions and their agreement for continuing the realization of quality in higher education,” said Mr. Tuck.
The Quality Seminar brought together key partners in quality assurance, including representatives of several universities in Macedonia, members of Self-Evaluation Commissions, members of the Accreditation and Evaluation Board, students and student organizations, representatives from employers, international advisors, academics and administrative staff.
During the Seminar, the artist Jakup Ahmeti from “Art décor” created conceptual pictures of people as 'quality tools'.
Using the comments and input of the participants, a Communique will be agreed which will be distributed to all stakeholders for further consideration.
