Seminar on ICT for High School Teachers

On Saturday (23 April) at South East European University (SEEU) in Tetovo, a one day seminar for high school teachers from Macedonia was held on the topic: “Internet and Online Services in Support of Learning and Teaching”.

About 100 teachers participated in the seminar, which treated topics in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), such as: “ALMOOC – for online schools’ contents”, “Online tools for learning and teaching”, and “Usage of Google App for improving teaching”.

On behalf of the Rector, the training was opened by his adviser, Dr. Demush Bajrami, who said that the symbiosis between the university and high school teachers at SEEU is at the highest level possible, which is evidenced by trainings of this kind.

“This training enables high school teachers to acquire new practical and theoretical knowledge in the field computer science and to convey the same to their students” said Dr. Bajrami.

The following SEEU instructors lectured on the subjects mentioned above: Prof. Dr. Artan Luma, Prof. Dr. Mentor Hamiti, Doc. Dr. Jaumin Hajdari, Doc. Dr. Marika Apostolova and expert Ridvan Bunjaku. All participating teachers were awarded certificates of participation.
