Trainings were conducted in various locations and venues; the largest sessions were held in the SEEU campus in Tetovo, while some of them were conducted at Popova Shapka.

In his presentation, the SEEU Rector, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, stressed the importance of quality and the need to prepare staff in line with global technological developments.

The Rector presented his overview of past and future priorities, focusingon the academic offer andmaking it cohere withlabour market expectations. “I think that South East European University has created a sustainable system to generate an academic offer that dynamically follows the developments of the labour market" he said.

Within the trainings for academic and administrative staff several workshops were held, such as a review of past and future priorities, organizational behaviour and effective management, planning of actions, and successes, challenges, priorities. The SEEU Quality Assurance Office oversaw the training sessions, especially the SEEU Executive Advisor for Quality, Ms. Heather Henshaw.

Well known experts in their fields, such as Academician Abdylmenaf Bexheti, Svetozar Janevski, members of the University management and professors lectured within training programme.

Staff training takes place every year and aims towards the continuous development and further strengthening of staff quality. Training topics derive from the self-assessment procedure, which is completed annually by each staff member. This is the fifth time that the entire staff of South East European University followed joint training sessions outside the university campus.
