Arta Toçi, lecturer at our University, on her doctoral dissertation has treated a very interesting and actual issue, since English is the global communication language. "The Role of the Mother Tongue in EFL Classroom ", was the topic of the doctoral dissertation of Arta Toçi. Acquisition of foreign language goes together with acquisition of the mother tongue. You can not be proficient in a foreign language if you are not proficient in your mother tongue. These were some the conclusions, from the research work of Arta Toçi.
The lecturer form the Faculty of Law, Jeton Shasivari, conjured a great interest not only among the partakers in the public defence but for the media as well. "The Election Process as a key element of Representative Democracy with special emphasis on RM ", was titled the doctoral dissertation that the candidate defended successfully in front of the respective commission. This topic has to do with further development of legal election framework, nature and term in office of the members of parliament, election units, election administration and other issues that are related to elections. Some of the conclusions of the candidate, Jeton Shasivari, were that our election model is done based on comparative research of the election models of the Western European countries.
A very interesting and unique topic in our region is the doctoral dissertation of the candidate Vlera Ejupi “The Creation of Female and Male Personalities in the Novels` Women in Love` and `Sons and Lovers` by David Herbert Lawrence”. The topic consists of the author`s precise concepts which he uses in creating rather originally his characters based on psychoanalysis, clashes, and the good relations of the protagonists of these two novels. David Herbert Lawrence is an unknown author in our region. She ended the doctoral dissertation defence process successfully for this period.
