Lecture of Governor Bogov - Students are your best ambassadors

“Several graduates from your university are employed at the National Bank of Macedonia, and they are your best ambassadors. Through my questions, I have noticed that current students are also well prepared, and this is as a result of receiving quality teaching at this university”, said the Governor of the National Bank of Macedonia, Dimitar Bogov. He made his remarks during his lecture on the topic “Macedonia's monetary policy-risks and future challenges”, which was held on the 26th of March 2014 at South East European University.

Governor Bogov provided a retrospective survey of the global economic crisis and its effect on the economy of Macedonia. He spoke about the role of the National Bank in creating macroeconomic policy and, in particular, its role in establishing measures for dealing with the challenges of the global economic crisis.

In his speech, the Rector of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, emphasized the importance of the Governor's speech, as well as the cooperation of the University with banks, especially with the National Bank of Macedonia.

Students asked Governor Bogov numerous questions and engaged with him in discussion and analysis.
