The Civil Law study program aims to provide a range of modules that will form the basis of information and advanced knowledge on Civil Law matters for the purpose of training students to basic legal professions related to this field by providing solid knowledge, the specific and systematic institutes and concepts of Civil Law in R. Macedonia and comparative knowledge to the region and the EU.
A Diploma in this study program will enable PhD students to conduct scientific research work in the field of Civil Law sciences, as well as teaching at universities in the country and abroad, and also will be actively involved in the process of strengthening the resources of government activities in terms of the country's Euro-Atlantic integration process.
Knowledge and understanding
- Has detailed knowledge of civil law, as well as material аnd procedural as well as basic norms in key areas of civil law.
- Has detailed knowledge of the principles and institutes of civil law, including the origin and contents.
- Assess the areas of civil law in a critical manner, the scientific and practical standpoint.

- Develops and promotes analytical and research skills of selecting the problems in theory and practice through the use of legislative acts and judicial practice;
- Identifies and analyzes the most complex problems, taking an active part in all phases of civil procedure and can perform complex issue civil legislation;

- Performs more critical thinking through methods of analyzing and comparing.
- Develops skills of solving problems through case-law practices of more complex national and international cases;

- Utilizes proper terminology for complex and specific issues in the area of civil law sciences;

- Utilizes the official languages of the University as well as more advanced computer skills in the research work.

Civil and Property Law - depth program
The concept of the curriculum aims for students to acquire the ability to apply their practical knowledge of civil law, a skill that every lawyer should possess. Largely expected by the student is the ability to develop the technique of proper application of legal rules (reading and interpretation of civil legal norms). Also, the student is expected to possess normative technique: Transactions (contracts, wills), preparation of various types of complaints (lawsuits, complaints, objections, requests), and the preparation of judicial acts (judgments, decisions) and acts other administrative bodies (decisions, contracts) that stimulate and change the civil legal relations.
Аlso, the concept of the curriculum aims for students to acquire the ability to apply their practical knowledge of property law. Largely expected by the student to develop the technique of proper application of legal rules of property law.

Civil Procedural Law - depth program
Specific objectives of this program consist of training of students to identify and critically analyze the fundamental institutions of the contested procedure, non contentious and execution procedure as well as to develop skills of applying knowledge gained in practice in relation to the conduct of these proceedings.

Review and Approval of the Doctoral Dissertation Plan
After the first semester, the student begins his activities for the development of the plan on his doctoral dissertation. Activities include the definition of literature, defining hypothetical framework, the definition of the work methodology and determination of the individual plan as well as the first public presentation. If necessary, can be held elective courses for this purpose.

Family and Inheritance Law
The course examines the legal family relationship, matrimonial law and parental rights. After a brief historical overview of the types of families, the course focuses on contemporary themes, namely the situation in the RM. Students are expected to gain knowledge about: Concept of family law at the local and international perspectives, legal resources and marital relations, conditions and forms of their marriage when the spouses are nationals of the country or in the case when one of the spouses has a foreign citizenship, adoption and guardianship in the local and international terms. Also, the course examines the legal regulation of transfer of property of the individual over others in case of his death. In particular, studying the legal basis for inheritance, hereditary orders under the Law of RM, the essentials necessary heritage and lineage, heritage testamentale, the possibility of drafting a will and his kind, the conditions of validity of the will, the moment of transfer of property and legacy.

By studying the subject of the curriculum students will gain specific knowledge about the basics of Law of obligations and their specific types.

Trade Law
Students familiarize themselves with legal regulations on the exercise of any business activity, organization of business entities, conditions for establishment and registration of business entities and individual dealer, and the ways of the cessation of business entity, the methods of creating a business and conditions legal relationship such conditions, the effects and consequences, with securities work: protection of intellectual property rights, ways of protecting businesses from unfair competition, and ways to protect consumers.
