The meeting was opened by SEEU’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, who said "In the current period we are focused on coordination of applied research with growing entrepreneurial initiatives to help the economic and technological development of the region, to help companies and society in general - where we live.”
Among other things, Rector Dika said, “your University is becoming a personalized service university, with applications of information systems for management of teaching and learning in order to offer adequate web based services, as well as for effective decision making."
Former graduates were greeted by the Provost Prof. Dr. Andrew Goodspeed, who said that he was pleased with the interest shown. He said that such meetings bring together students and assist in the exchange of experience.
In this meeting, the Dean of Faculty of Business and Economics Prof. Dr. Nexhbi Vejseli and the Dean of the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, Prof. Dr. Betim Çiço were present.
“Graduates are branches of the University and we know that these branches have fruits, which in this case are your engagements in the known companies and institutions in Kosovo”, said Dean Betim Çiço.
The meeting with SEEU Alumni from Kosova has become a traditional meeting and soon an Association is expected to be created, which will bring together all SEEU Alumni from Kosovo.
