SEEU Students Mark Teacher’s Day

The South East European University-Student Union marked the March 7th- Albanian Teachers Day.

“The celebration of Teacher’s Day at the national level serves to evaluate the best traditions of the Albanian school, no doubt the honourable figure of the teacher, but also all educational workers as educators of the young generation and as active contributors to development and progress of the Albanian society. Each of us has in their hearts the monument of his/her teacher. Albanian teachers at any time in the each province were not just education professionals, but first and foremost patriots and emancipated people, idealistic, humanitarian and artists from various fields. Although they were not rewarded as they deserved, they worked in difficult conditions, away in remote areas, to with stand risks, ignorance and canon, but despite this, they remained true to their noble mission of educating future generations" was said in the lecture devoted to the history of this central date.

SEEU’s Rector Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, after thanking the Student Union for the organization and cooperation and for their work they are doing in service to students, said:
