On 28th April 2010, the Minister of Education and Science, Nikola Todorov, and the British Council Macedonia Director, Les Dangerfield, signed a memorandum of agreement on improving English language classes and training teachers and professors. With this memorandum, CELTA (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults) offered by the Language Center is recognized as an appropriate and sufficient teaching qualification for teaching English in the primary education cycle in Macedonia.
