The Rector of South East European University--Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, participated in this event also, he is a beneficiary of one of the Embassy's programs during the first years of the university's operation.
The purpose of the meeting was to examine the impact of the participants' experience in exchange programs and other professional opportunities offered by the US Embassy, emphasizing how these opportunities have contributed to the personal and professional development of SEEU’s staff. Also, new opportunities for student and professional exchanges were discussed, as well as other opportunities aimed at deepening inter-institutional cooperation.
Rector Bexheti emphasized that the experience that the staff has gained from these programs, as well as the stay in the USA, has fundamentally influenced the development of individuals, changing their way of thinking. He also appreciated the great and significant help that the US Embassy has given to the SEEU, relying on strategic partnerships, such as the one with Indiana University.
For his part, Daniel Orange expressed his satisfaction for the warm hospitality and the positive experiences he has heard from the university staff, adding that such meetings are important for strengthening ties and sharing new professional opportunities.
Also, during the meeting, the possibility of a new program was presented, which can contribute to the construction of new collaborations between the universities of the USA and SEEU, offering various opportunities for development and exchange for students and academic staff.
