“Today you are at the leading University in Macedonia and the region - South East European University in Tetovo. Our University is a model institution of higher education that is established and recognized by the USA, the EU and the Republic of Macedonia, and we are recognized because our work and efforts are supported by outstanding results. We aim to ensure further development and improvement of quality in higher education in Macedonia and in the region, in order to encourage harmonization of student mobility according to models provided by both the European Higher Education Area and the U.S.A. So, tomorrow you will be better prepared for the labour market," said the Rector’s Advisor for PR and Communication, Demush Bajrami, in front of more than one thousand students who came from all the major cities of Macedonia, as well as from Kosovo and the Preshevo Valley, on the Open Day of the University.
During Open Day the University staff presented the academic offer for the coming academic year 2014/15 in which, according to the Call for Student Enrolment, about 1300 students are expected to enrol in five faculties: the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies; the Faculty of Business and Economics; the Faculty of Law; the Faculty of Public Administration and Political Sciences; and the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication.
Mr. Bajrami mentioned specifically the numerous scholarship opportunities available, which play a key role in removing financial barriers for enrolling in SEEU and have a direct impact on the development of a society based on knowledge.
