Frequently Asked Questions by Students Who Go to Exchange with the Erasmus + Program

Any regular student, registered at SEEU, can go to the exchange. Students who are in undergraduate studies must have completed the first year of studies. Students who are in Master or doctoral studies, can go from the first semester.

The duration of the exchange is one or two semesters for a study cycle.

There are usually two application deadlines: one which opens somewhere in March / April, for exchanges that take place during the winter semester, while the other that opens somewhere in August / September, for exchanges that take place during the summer semester.

The names of the universities to which a student can go are defined in separate lists for each faculty. This list is updated every semester because the number of universities where students can go on exchange increases from year to year.

Any student who decides to apply can do so by gathering the necessary documents for the application. These documents are:

  • Letter of application
  • Certificate of grades
  • Certificate that the student is registered at SEEU
  • Certificate of English language proficiency
  • CV
  • Cover letter
The above documents are sent by the student to the address of the institutional coordinator for the Erasmus + program at SEEU, Bujar Sinani, to the email address bujar.sinani@seeu.edu.mk, as well as that of the student adviser at the faculty where he / she is registered.

Each student who goes on exchange receives an Erasmus + grant, which depending on where he goes, is 470 or 520 euros. With this grant, the student must cover all the costs of residence, travel, health insurance, visa, for the state where he will stay.

Students who obtain a residence permit in the state where they travel, have the right to work 15 hours per week.

No. A student who goes on exchange with the Erasmus + program pays for the semester at SEEU, while not paying tuition fees at the university where he / she conducts the exchange.
