Training on Social Harmony and Conflict Resolution in the Western Balkans will be held at SEEU

From 26-28 March 2013, at the South East European University in Tetovo, experts from Columbia University, New York will deliver a training for professors from Western Balkan (Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo) within the framework of the program “Conflict Resolution and Social Harmony” in order to prepare them to teach this course at their home universities.

After conflicts in Western Balkan, introducing this course in the university curriculum is expected to influence on the peaceful solution of conflicts, increasing the confidence, creating climate for mutual understanding and social harmony building.

The training is organized by the Institute for the Study of Human Rights, Columbia University and in cooperation with the Institute "Max van der Stoel" at the South East European University.

Columbia University is one of the most famous universities in the world in the area of research in social sciences, medicine and art.
