President of SEEU Board Prof.Dr Dennis Farrington visited Moldavia for reforms in education

During the meeting they exchanged experiences on reforms in higher education and Professor Farrington recommended the Moldovan authorities to work in modernization of the Moldovan universities.

At this meeting it was concluded that the basic principles of flexibility, honesty, a new model of management and strengthening links with the business community should be included in the new Code of education in Moldavia. They have also discussed the issue of joint degreesin all cycles of study.

“The public must be mobilized and say yes, for the improvements in the quality of higher education and and better opportunities for the youth”, said the expert of the Council of Europe and President of the SEEU Board Prof. Dr Dennis Farrington.
