Seminar: Mapping the U.S.A. from Southeastern Europe

Using the overall seminar theme “Mapping the U.S.A. from Southeastern Europe”, the seminar was organized around keynote lectures by distinguished scholars: Dr. Mary Ellen Schmider, Fulbright Executive Director, Dr. Ian McLeod from Institute Marie Haps in Brussels and Steven Foulke, Fulbright Professor of American Studies followed by a panel discussion entitled: Representation of US Presidential Election in the South East Europe. The following countries were represented by the following delegates, respectively:

The seminars also provided a much-needed opportunity for networking among colleagues with smilar interests and for support for our efforts to make changes in the way we teach American Studies.
