With the motto sport, companionship, entertainment, collaboration, integration on 1 and 2 March, in Kodra e Diellit (Popova Shapka) the 6th Ski University Competition organized by both SEEU and the SUT was held with participation of contestants from seven local universities, including the University of Prishtina and Korca. The 6th edition was declared opened by SEEU’s Rector Prof. Dr Zamir Dika.
Regarding the overall results, SEEU was the winner with 101 points, followed by SUT with 94 points and St. Cyril and Methodius University with 73 points. In individual races in the men's category the winner was Gentian Kurtishi followed by Besar Iljazi and Martin Martinovski.
In the women’s category, the winner was Ivana Ivçevska followed by Ivana Ivanovsksa and Ardiana Bjarami.
From Korca University the best ranked contestant was Sokrat Tasho in the men's category, while Paola Tasho was the best ranked in the women’s category.
The organizer of this competition for the best ranked competitors was awarded a cup and medals, while the winning team received the passing cup. The general opinion of the participants was that the competition was well organized.
This competition with an international character was organized in the beautiful ski slopes of Kodra e Diellit (Popova Shapka) – Tetovo.
