International Communication Students Learn from the Experiences of U.S. Ambassador Constance A. Morella

The well known U.S. Ambassador and former Member of the US Congress, Constance A. Morella visited the campus of the South East European University in Tetovo on Tuesday afternoon (26 February 2013). On this occasion Ambassador Morella gave a lecture to SEEU students of the study program International Communication in the Faculty of Languages, Cultures and Communication.

Ambassador Morella spoke about campaigns of international communication, political campaigns, and her vast experiences in negotiations and the contemporary practices of diplomacy.

Ms. Morella has served as U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) during 2003-2007 and prior to that, from 1987-2003 she was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives where she developed a national reputation as a leading advocate for women and children.

The students of international communication used the opportunity to learn from both the last diplomatic experiences of Ambassador Morella as well as from her experiences and memories during her sixteen years in the U.S. Congress when she lead efforts in promoting economic growth through science and technology.
