On August 30, 2010 the Board of the South East European University (SEEU) appointed Prof. Dr. Blerim Reka as the Pro Rector for Research and Promotion.
Dr. Reka will lead research at SEEU, chair the Research Committee consisting of Directors of research centres, and he will coordinate research projects. Professor Reka will also lead the SEEU Review.

Dr. Reka will lead research at SEEU, chair the Research Committee consisting of Directors of research centres, and he will coordinate research projects. Professor Reka will also lead the SEEU Review.

Dr. Reka was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Macedonia – Head of Mission of R. M. to EU, Brussels; Former Pro-Rector for Research at SEEU; Former Dean of Faculty of Public Administration and Political Sciences at SEEU; Doctor of International Law; Master of Civil and Economic Law; Fulbright Senior Fellow at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles; Professor of International Law, EU Law and Institutions and Politics of EU; Involved in international lecturing and research at: Harvard University (Kennedy School for Government), Oxford University, St. Anthony College, Graz University, Purdue University, Ghent University, U. S Institute for Peace, etc. He is author of 17 books in the field of: EU Law, International law and International Relations and more than 60 studies published in: English, German and Spanish languages; quoted in many books, journals and reviews on international law and international relations in English, German and French languages.
