Azir Aliu and Halil Snopce were in a meeting for distance learning

SEEU representatives Azir Aliu and Halil Snopce, have participated in meeting of the Tempus project “European VICES,” which was held in Durrës, Albania from 9-12 June 2010.

The main aim of the project is development of distance learning infrastructure.

Besides SEEU, representatives from European universities participated, such as: University of Florence-School of Engineering from Italy, “AVNet” Catholic University of Leuven from Belgium, National Information Infrastructure Development Institute, from Hungary, Macedonian Research and Academic Network (MARNET), from Macedonia, UNINETTUNO University Rome, Italy, and others.

SEEU now posses the server Polycom® RSS™ 2000, which is a centralized server for registering, streaming and archiving of multimedia conferences.  This server significantly will ease the work for organizing distance classes.
