SEEU and SUT Sign Memorandum for Cooperation

The South East European University (SEEU) and State University of Tetova (SUT), signed a memorandum for cooperation on Wednesday (26 May 2010), in the fields of common interest. The memorandum was signed by the SEEU’s Rector, Academician Alajdin Abazi and SUT’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Agron Reka.

The leaders of both universities, among others, agreed to have exchange of academic staff under the framework of a special agreement, which includes the organization and implementation of joint research projects and sharing of information about research results. Also in the focus of this agreement is the cooperation of students and student organizations in academic and cultural fields and sport activities.

“The signing of this memorandum is a major step forward not only for our two universities, but also for the whole higher education in Albanian language  in the Republic of  Macedonia,” said Rector Abazi.

The Rector SUT, Prof. Dr. Agron Reka, said that the Memorandum will finally regulate many aspects of mutual cooperation between the two universities, in the first place, the advancement of conditions and study offers and promotion of the work for our students and professors.
